I know, I know, at 33 I should have more of a direction in life, be more productive and *probably* stop reading comics by now, but I can't help it - LOVE supes. Anyway. The Smallville finale was typically frustrating - I've waded through ten seasons of emo loving, teenage melodrama, relationshipping crap to finally see a modicum of superman in smallville, and I get what? A glimpse of the S shield in the eye?

You're full of assholes CW...Not cool blueballing superman fans.

Anyway. to console myself, I put something together for my desktop, and thought I'd up it here for safe keeping and possible enjoyment for other people as well - this wallpaper looks pretty good when used with the omnimo suite by fediafedia.

I did, I did...I kind of felt let down in many ways, but happy that ten years of my life watching this show wasn't completely wasted - season 10 on the whole, I have to say was probably the best though...Which really tells me they should have gotten rid of alfred gough and miles millar sooner.

Hmmm I see. I'd have loved to see them bring in Bruce Wayne. But with Oliver, Lex, and well the Luthor's period that'd been a bit too much money friends/enemies for the show I think. I think that's why they kept him out logistically story wise. I'm sure the rights had another thing to do with it too.

Don't think like that, now. Look, I'm a huge fan of the show and smallville and I like Tom Welling as well. I'm glad they have been so introducing the audience to other DC characters some people haven;t heard of. Anyway, they are very lucky that I'm a fan and that have a hell of a lot of patience, too. I believe the 10th seasson shouls be the last. And I know Clark will tell Lois who he really is. But not as the blur. I believe he'll do it later after he finally becomes superman.

Sure, but without getting caught up in the canon argument, there are shocking elements to the storylines (such as the lana lang nano kryptonite suit that gave her powers) that are just really too tough to swallow - now that the show is largely based in the metropolis backdrop, they should just go the whole hog and drop the smallville motif. It's insulting to the fans.

Although on the bright side, none of this gets me down as much as it probably should, as the fantastic news that heroes was cancelled reached my ears a couple of days ago.

Yeah, with Lana having powers just doesn't click for me at all and hoping maybe sometime her powers would wear off.

I personally think that season 10 is going to be the swan song - Warner are looking at making another attempt at a film in 2011/12, and I think half the problem with returns was the fact that smallville was on the air, and being damaged quite severely by its reputation. And thanks for the compliment. :)
